Arts Success Gatherings
As stated on the Success Gatherings page of this site our schedue for this series of events was to launch in on Nov. 4/07 but unfortunately we have had to postpone it for a while. Our intent now is to launch it as soon as practical in the new year. For details about this series of weekly arts
community gatherings that will provide all participating arts people with regular opportunities
to meet, interact, inform, support and encourage each other please visit our Open Arts Gatherings page.
Community Arts Champion Campaign
We want to identify, and offer community recognition to, as many people as we can in the Victoria/CRD area who have "championed" the arts in any way that has:
stimulted the creativity of other arts people
created new opportunities for arts people
generated benefits for the arts community as a whole
~ or ~
made any aspect of the arts more attractive, or accessible, to the public

An Open Arts Funding
Program
As soon as possible
we will be launching a creative and cooperative arts fund raising program
that will
generate:

additional funds for arts people and organizations,
-
sales for participating
businesses
~ and ~
-
savings
for arts lovers while supporting their favorite arts and artists by patronizing participating businesses.

The Open Arts Web Site
As soon as possible this site will be expanded to offer a variety of interactive services that will:

build social, creative and career connections between people in the arts

assist
people active in the arts to find and serve their markets

encourage
and support resources sharing within the arts community
-
provide
easy access mutual and self-promotional support services to arts people and organizations
There
will be a basic free level for most of the services offered plus fee based enhanced
services.
The Open Arts Foundation
As described on "About Us" page we are holding in trust a block of 1000 Class B Non-Voting shares be donated as the beginning of a capital fund to a non-profit foundation that will be registered by the company. This fund will be augmented by a variety of fundraising methods and
minimum of 50% of its
earnings will be awarded to arts community applicants democratically chosen by our registered Open Arts Members.
Phase II
BUILDING ON THE FOUNDATION
Once the activities, programs and
services of our first phase are fully functional Open Arts Enterprises
Inc. will have powerful tools in place to gather and mobilize the human and other
resources needed to develop a wide variety of planned Open Arts support
services, events, activities and projects. It will do so both on its own and in partnership
with other arts people and organizations. In doing
so it will generate many benefits for the community that it was formed to serve
and substantial rewards to Open Art Alliance members whose resources, skills and talents help to make it happen.
